2017 is in full swing and many New Year resolutions have been made and many have been broken. With Christmas already a distant memory, if you were lucky enough to become the owner of a brand new Swegway then congratulations to you. Make sure your New Year’s resolution is to make the most of it. There is plenty of fun to be had with your new board that is for sure.
To help you make the most of your new board here are our 5 New Year tips for maximising your board in 2017.
1. Protect It
To ensure that you enjoy your Swegway for years to come it is important that you look after your board. The more you care for it the longer it will last.
So it goes without say when you are riding your board have fun, fun and more fun but just be aware of looking after it also. Keep it out of water and try not to smash it into too many walls.
To help you along your way you can buy some Swegway protective strips. These protective rubber strips fit over your Swegway wheel arches and protect your board from any bumps or rolls. Fitting is easy and no more than 30 seconds to complete and no tools are required. You can buy them here and are a very useful addition to your board.
2. Protect You
Along with looking after your board you need to look after you too. Your safety really is the most important thing, especially in the early days of having your new Swegway. Until you gain your confidence on your new board we would recommend that you pace yourself. Don’t try and hit top speeds, hold onto walls whilst riding and even have a friend be with you in the early days.
One of the best ways to ensure you are safe is to purchase the right safety equipment as you would if you were riding a bike.
